Event Description:

Sign Up Today to Be a Part of this Fun Family Event !  
Celebrate Christmas with a team of your staff or volunteers and create your one of a kind themed float, vehicle, or equine entry and take part in the 2015 Annual Ozark Christmas Parade! 
The event is held the weekend before Thanksgiving every year and is scheduled in the evening to highlight the sparkle of the holidays. 
Our 2015 Parade falls on Saturday, November 21st and starts at 5:00pm 
The theme chosen for this year is 
"A Very Retro Christmas!" 

   Celebrate the auspicious occasion of Christmas and interpret the theme in keeping with your faith and in good spirit, a touch of some lighthearted fun for the holidays! 
   So come on all you Daddy O's and Dollies in the Ozark scene and get your groovy going, ready your 'rad' ride, pop the clutch and put your plan in gear, get some gnarly lightage,  unharsh your mellow, and take your entry 'to the max' this year, like, I'm so sure! 
You can go with any era! Lots of room to play off whatever floats your float!  Use music for your idea designs! Anything from classic folk & bluegrass of the early Ozark,  20's Ragtime, 30's  Big Band, 40's Crooners & Billie Holliday, 50's Elvis & Doo Wop,  60's Flower Power & Age of Aquarius, Beach Boys, or Beatlemania, 70's with the bellbottom blues and    our own Ozark Mountain Daredevils, 80's Madonna & the Big Hair Bands, 90's ... Grunge, Hip Hop, etc etc . AND so much, much more to help you pick your idea and show off your "choice in time!" 

 Parade contest categories include:
Religious Float, Commercial Float, General Entry Float, Marching Band,
Individual Entry, Automotive Entry, Pet Entry, & Equine Entry.

First, Second and Third place will be awarded in all three float entry categories.  Parade Entry forms can be downloaded from the Ozark Chamber of Commerce website, or call us at 417 581 6139, or email our staff at info@OzarkChamber.com, or visit us at 1471 W. South St in Ozark!

Completed Parade entry forms & $30 registration fee due to the Ozark Chamber by Friday November 13th -The Chamber is open 9:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday.  A mandatory safety brief will be held on November 4th at 12:00 pm and repeated at 5:30 pm for Float Entries - at least one representative from each float entry must attend.

We have partnered with the Christian County Children's Charities Sertoma Club (4C Sertoma) to bring you the second  
 "Jingle Bell Jog Costumed Fun Run!"
This is a timed contest, all ages welcome.   Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:  Best Christmas Costume, Ugliest Christmas Sweater, Best Use of Lights, and Best Group Costume (3 or more) !   Hosted by the CCCC Sertoma Club and sponsored by Dennis Hanks Chevrolet.    Additional Corporate Sponsorships now available to businesses - you can be an Elf and Reindeer Sponsor for this highly anticipated community event! 
 
   "Jingle Bell Jog" Costume Run Entry Forms can be picked up at Hometown Sports & Screenprinting.  Contact a CCCC Sertoma Club member today to find out how you can be part of this fun community run which will be the Kick-off to the 2015 Ozark Christmas Parade!

Location:
   You may turn in Parade Entry fee and forms to the Ozark Chamber of Commerce 1471 W. South St.  in Ozark November 13th deadline. 

For Parade Participants: U.S. Automotive will be where you enter to line up and our "Parade Command Post"  at 1700 W. Jackson St (SE Corner Hwy 65 /Jackson in Ozark MO.  Volunteers will guide you to your position from there. Actual line up will remain the same at Hwy 65 and Jackson behind the blue SLS Building (the former FASCO building). 

For Spectators:  Parade Begins at 5:00 pm this year and will be preceded by the Jingle Bell Jog!
         Route begins at Ozark Bank and proceeds down Jackson Avenue to 3rd Street and turns onto the Historic Ozark Square at Church St. to complete a loop and return to 3rd Street.

Fees/Admission:

Parade registration cost is $30 per entry with the exception of school teams and marching bands who are invited at no charge to participate.  Parade entry may be individual, business, organization, or other group.
